I am deployed and became complasent and ok with just hearing about my kids second hand from my wife. I know they are having a tough time with me gone and my wife is extreamly disapointed in my lack of effort to talk to them one on one. I must get back in there lives but were do I start?

Maybe "baby steps" will work. Send emails and cards, not just group letters with "Miss you all!!" but individual notes (it will make them feel more special). Call them more often just to ask how they are...

God bless you and I pray it all works out somehow.
